About
Peta Partanen moves through the world with a writer's instinct and a long memory for what matters. Her practice is less about producing words than about paying attention; to what an organisation is genuinely trying to say, to what its audience needs to hear, and to the space between the two where meaning either forms or dissolves.
Over the past seven years, she has helped some of the Nordic region's most recognised organisations find the story that already exists within their work and tell it in ways that earn attention rather than demand it. Sustainability reports, brand campaigns, thought leadership, organisational change. She moves between registers without losing the thread, and brings to every project the same underlying belief: that the most effective communication begins with genuine understanding.
Approach
Her background in ethnographic research means every brief begins with real curiosity about the people it is meant to reach, not only what to say, but why it will resonate, and what it asks of the reader. Training at Aalto's International Design Business Management programme sharpened the other side: how narrative, brand, and commercial strategy connect and hold each other in place.
What emerges is a way of working rooted in attention and critical distance, comfortable moving between the creative and the commercial without losing either, holding detail and perspective at the same time. She is drawn to clarity and precision without coldness. In a communications landscape that often mistakes volume for impact, her work argues quietly and persistently for something slower and more lasting, language that helps people see something they hadn't quite seen before.
